We don’t stop there. Our rigs were the first to be outfitted with no-idle heaters to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. We feature aerodynamic design and high-efficiency tires. And we voluntarily lowered our solo driver speeds to 60 mph, saving 3.75 million gallons of diesel fuel annually and eliminating of 83.25 million pounds of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
Our efforts have not gone unnoticed. Schneider has earned the EPA’s SmartWay Award of Excellence each year since the award’s inception.
