John Ferguson Named Vice President, International, Schneider Logistics
New Role Underscores Company’s Expanding Global Supply Chain Services

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Sept. 4, 2007 — Schneider Logistics, Inc., an international lead logistics provider and part of the Schneider National enterprise, today announced the promotion of John Ferguson to Vice President, International, Schneider Logistics. In this new role, Ferguson will assume responsibility for Schneider’s North American transloading, warehousing, drayage and freight forwarding business and for coordinating the company’s global freight forwarding expansion.

“Multinational shippers are looking for a single-source solution to help them move freight from the critical first mile to the last point in a shipment,” says Tom Escott, President of Schneider Logistics. “Our door-to-door international services and John’s vast supply chain expertise will help shippers navigate the complexities of international trade and grow their businesses.”

Prior to his promotion, Ferguson was vice president/general manager of Schneider National’s Canadian operations. Ferguson joined Schneider in 2005 and has more than 20 years of experience in developing global logistics, supply chain management and international trade practices. Ferguson joined Schneider National from PBB Global Logistics, Inc., a provider of third-party international logistics services, and was instrumental in the company’s successful evolution from a customs broker to a global logistics company.
