Responsible Care
 In June 2008, Schneider Logistics became a Responsible Care® Partner by the American Chemistry Council (ACC).
As a third party logistics provider, we understand that we play a significant role in the supply chain of handling chemicals and other products that can affect the environment and health and safety of the public. The Responsible Care® Partnership ensures necessary safeguards are in place for to protect all stakeholders.
Schneider Logistics will demonstrate additional commitment to this program by completing the Responsible Care® Partnership Certification Program in 2009. Leading these efforts in the logistics industry, we will serve as the footprint for future logistics company pursuing this certification. The certification provides added value for our customers by allowing them to be more confident that products are transported with the highest degree of consideration for environmental, health, safety and security.
Responsible Care® is a voluntary global initiative that was initiated in 1993 and is currently practiced in 53 countries. Companies are completing this voluntary Responsible Care® effort to more efficiently manage and communicate Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) issues beyond what is required by the government.
