Operations

Schneider National was founded in 1935 and currently operates 14,000 tractors, 40,000 trailers and has partnerships with over 6,000 carriers. ISO 9001:2000 Certification

Schneider National and Schneider Logistics locations in Green Bay, Wis., and Farmington Hills, Mich. have been ISO certified since July 1998.

ISO 9001:2000 helps both product and service oriented organizations achieve standards of quality that are recognized and respected all over the world. The international standard provides a trusted framework for an effective quality management system that helps ensure consistency and improvement in working practices that meet the requirements of business as well as the broader needs of a globally-minded society.

To be considered for the certification, Schneider National completes internal and external audits that analyze its processes and Quality Management System.  A third party registrar annually evaluates that Schneider continues to meet the needs of the standard, in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 guidelines.
